Project Description
The City of Dothan will construct a Community Center on the campus of the Wiregrass Public Safety Center. This multi-purpose facility will be used for meetings of up to 600 people and will be available for public use, by reservation.
Senator Tommy Tuberville assisted with the funding of this project with $7.75 million from the U.S. Government. The total project cost will be approximately $10-$11 million, with the balance of the funding coming from the City of Dothan.
Seay, Seay, and Litchfield, P.C. is the architecture firm in charge of facility design. The project is due to be put out for construction bids in late Fall 2025.
Construction is due to begin during the Winter of 2026 with anticipated completion of the project during Spring 2027.
