Dothan Eastgate Park Archery Range
The archery range is a public range open to everyone. All participants, ages 16 to 64 must have a Hunting or Heritage license. The range is open daylight hours except for Wednesday when it is closed to the public. All shooters must sign in and out at the Eastgate Lodge. No broadhead points are allowed and users of the elevated platform must wear a full-body harness.
The range was developed through a partnership with the City of Dothan and the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries; the Archery Trade Association; and the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Division of Federal Assistance.
To enter the range use Eastgate Park's main park entrance, stop by the lodge and check-in, then keep driving past the lodge until you can see the range on your right.

Dothan Leisure Services offers an Olympic-style archery skills class, which is taught at the Eastgate Archery Range. Class content covers archery history, safety, technique, equipment, mental concentration, self-improvement, The remainder of the class will be spent putting these concepts into practice.
