About Commissioner Vivian K. Daniels


Vivian K. Daniels is a proud native of Dothan, Alabama and a graduate of Dothan High School, Class of 1971. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Troy University, setting the foundation for a lifelong commitment to service, advocacy, and civic engagement.

Vivian has been a dedicated volunteer and leader across numerous local, regional, and state organizations. She has contributed her time and expertise to causes that uplift families, promote education, and improve health and wellness in the community. Her volunteer work includes efforts with the Hawk Houston Enrichment Center, Heard Elementary's Adopt-A-School Program, Habitat for Humanity, the House of Ruth, Moma Tina's Mission House, the Salvation Army, the Sickle Cell Walk-A-Thon, and the National Peanut Festival.

She has held multiple leadership positions in civic and service organizations, including Vice President of a regional women's auxiliary, Assistant Secretary of a matron's council, and advisor to various health and wellness initiatives. She is also the President of the Wiregrass Pan-Hellenic Council. She is actively involved in educational and leadership development programs through district-level conventions and coalitions focused on community advancement.

Vivian Daniels is happily married to Rev. Mace C. Daniels. She is the proud mother of two daughters, Natasha K. Scott and Nikia J. Scott, and the loving grandmother of Tylan and Tyvian. She is joyfully awaiting the arrival of her first great-grandson, Kylo Reign Scott.
