The Special Olympics Alabama State Summer Games will be held in Troy, Alabama May 18-20, 2018 on the campus of Troy University.  Opening Ceremonies will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Trojan Arena.  Dothan will be host to the cycling competition at the Peanut Festival Fairgrounds. Individual Bowling will be held at Brunswick Zone & Bama Lanes in Montgomery, AL.  All other venues (aquatics, athletics, baseball, bocce, equestrian, flag football, golf, rhythmic gymnastics, powerlifting and softball will be held in Troy, Alabama.  All competition will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2018.  Dothan Special Olympics program will have athletes competing in bowling, swimming, cycling, golf, track & field, and rhythmic gymnastics.
