The Dothan Police Department will be conducting the first annual Junior Police Academy July 15-25, 2013. This academy will offer an opportunity for youth ages 12-16 years old to experience and learn about the law enforcement careers. Interested parents and youth should contact Lieutenant Baxley at 793-0230 or email bjbaxley@dothan.org. There is no cost to attend and lunch is provided. Classes will be held 8:30 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Academy enrollment is limited to thirty (30) cadets, so register as soon as possible for this exciting program. Deadline for registration is July 12, 2013.
