[ARCHIVED] Holiday Sanitation Collection Schedule for Christmas

In observance of the Christmas Holidays, the City of Dothan will be closed on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 and Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Therefore, the following schedule will apply to City of Dothan sanitation customers:

Tuesday residents will receive garbage (automated green cart) and recycling collection on their regularly scheduled day on Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Wednesday is not a regularly scheduled day for garbage collection; therefore, residents will not be affected.

There will be no trash (leaves, limbs, junk, etc.) collection for Tuesday or Wednesday, and there is no make-up day for trash.

The city landfill will also be closed for these days and will re-open on Thursday, December 26, 2013. The city will resume normal collections for the remainder of the week.

If you have any questions, the Environmental Services Division can be contacted at 615-3820 Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Please remember to place all garbage, recycling, and trash by the curb prior to 6:00 a.m. on the day of your pick-up. Thank you!
