[ARCHIVED] Holiday Sanitation Collection Schedule for New Year's Day

In observance of the New Year’s Day holiday, the City of Dothan will be closed on Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Therefore, the following schedule will apply to City of Dothan sanitation customers:

There will be no trash (leaves, limbs, junk, etc.) collection for Wednesday, and there is no make-up day for trash. Wednesday is not a regularly scheduled day for garbage (automated green cart) or recycling collection; therefore, residents will not be affected.

The city landfill will also be closed Wednesday and will re-open on Thursday, January 2, 2014. The city will resume normal collections for the remainder of the week.

If you have any questions, the Environmental Services Division can be contacted at 615-3820 Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Please remember to place all garbage, recycling, and trash by the curb prior to 6:00 a.m. on the day of your pick-up. Thank you!
