[ARCHIVED] Dothan Utilities Needs Homeowners to Report Outages

Dothan Utilities has completed the process of restoring all primary electrical services that were damaged as a result of Tuesday’s storm. However, there may still be some individual power outages that we are unaware of.

If you are still without power, please notify the Dothan Utilities Dispatch Center at (334) 615-3302. Even if you have previously called, please call again to confirm that we have the correct information associated with your specific location.

If your meter base or masthead is damaged, you will need to call a licensed electrician, who then must obtain a building permit and release from Dothan’s Building and Inspections Department before DU can reconnect power.

Please note that the City of Dothan is responsible for delivering power to your meter and service entrance, and the homeowner is responsible for repairs to the meter base and masthead (click the link at the end of the article to view diagram).

On behalf of the City of Dothan, DU appreciates your patience during this restoration event!
