[ARCHIVED] Mayor's Ride for Fitness to be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016

Dothan Mayor Mike Schmitz would like to invite everyone to join him for the annual Mayor's Ride for Fitness to be held Saturday, May 14, 2016. At the event, you can join Mayor Schmitz to ride along the 3.3 mile asphalt bike loop at Westgate Park!

The event will include a professional stunts cyclist from the Christ Clark Bicycle Stunt Show, a kids inflatables area, music, Touch a Truck (firetrucks, police cars, etc), a mass warmup, refreshments, fitness related vendor booths, and registration opportunities for FREE GIVE-A-WAYS....including a FREE youth bicycle (six bicycles will be given away)! A big thank you to Dothan Cycle & Fitness for assembling the bicycles for the give-a-way!

Participants will receive an event t-shirt, recognition certificate, and a FREE WATER WORLD PASS FOR KIDS!!! Along with the 3.3 mile asphalt bike look, there will also be a riding area for kid 5 and under. Younger kids and tricycle riders can join the fun on their own special riding course (supervised by the HIPPY Program).

Helmets are required! A limited number of helmets will be available. A bike mechanic will also be onsite.
