The City of Dothan will soon be installing new water lines and a new 36” diameter sanitary sewer line in the Brookside Drive area which will require some road closures. Beginning Monday morning, May 9, 2016 at 8:00 a.m., the section of Ridgewood Drive between Brookside Drive and Brookridge Drive will be closed to through traffic until Wednesday, May 11, 2016. This closure includes the intersection of Brookside Drive and Ridgewood Drive.
Then beginning on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 Brookside Drive, between Ridgewood Drive and Deerpath Road, will be periodically reduced to single lane traffic and some complete closure to through traffic, depending upon construction needs. This phase of the construction project is expected to last until September 2016. Detours will be in place as needed. Motorists are asked to use extreme caution or avoid this area if possible.
