The pilgrimage of the 53rd Azalea Dogwood Trail through some of Dothan’s heaviest azalea and dogwood-populated areas will be held Sunday, February 26th.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 1:50 p.m. on the corner of Woodland and Main Street.
Following the ribbon cutting, lovely young ladies dressed in antebellum gowns atop Corvettes provided by the Circle City Corvette Club, will make their way thru the seven-mile trail. Also, lovely young ladies dressed in antebellum gowns will grace the lawns of the trail.
The trail ends at – the Cook residence located at 115 Girard Avenue. Anyone is welcome to ride the trail after 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 26th, but please do not turn into the driveway of the Cook’s home at 115 Girard Avenue after 4:20 p.m.
The Azalea Dogwood Festival is sponsored annually by the City of Dothan and the National Peanut Festival.
