[ARCHIVED] Camp Choctaw Registration - May 9, 2017
Arts and crafts, field trips, swimming and games are just a small sample of the activities children will enjoy this summer as participants in the Department of Leisure Services Camp Choctaw.
This Day Camp is for boys and girls ages 6-12 who are looking for fun and interesting ways to keep themselves busy this summer. The camps are held in two-week sessions at Doug Tew Recreation Center.
Registration will be held on Tuesday, May 9th from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Doug Tew Center. After May 9th, (if spaces are available) you may register at Doug Tew Center from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. Each session is limited to 75 participants and registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. You may sign up for as many sessions as you would like. Registration fees for all sessions must be paid at the time of registration (cash or check only). No telephone registrations will be accepted unless it is for a waiting list. If you are a first time camper, you must provide a birth certificate when you register.
The registration fee for a two week session is $100.00 and includes all supplies, a camp t-shirt, transportation on field trips from designated locations and daily snacks. There will be four two week sessions from which to choose.
The two-week sessions meet Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Bus transportation will not be provided from various pick-up points around the city this year.
