The Fleet Services Division is responsible for the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of the city's fleet which is comprised of approximately 1,100 vehicles and pieces of equipment valued at over $34 million. Fleet Services Manager, Phillip Holmes, currently supervises 31 employees. Division activities include:
- Supervising and coordinating the daily maintenance and repair of all city vehicles and equipment
- Administers vehicle and equipment disposal program
- Prepares bid specifications for fleet replacement
- Recommending acquisitions for shop equipment to promote greater efficiency in the operations
- Operates four fueling stations
